Mary, I am so glad you shared this animated video of the Ramayana! Did you watch it? I watched the first few minutes of this video and it wasn't too bad! I am definitely thinking about watching the rest of it because I think it would really help to clarify the storyline and characters of the Ramayana. All of that became very confusing to me, especially after introducing the Mahabharata.
