- I did a storybook last semester for Myth and Folklore. It was about giving a voice to the villains to explain their side of the story. Are they really an evil villain or a victim of circumstance? It would be interesting to merge the two classes together by injecting an Epics of India villain into that world.
- Possible Villains:
- Kaikeyi- betrayed Rama so that her son could be king.
- Manthara- convinced Kaikeyi to betray Rama.
- Viradha

- Since we spend three weeks in this class reading the story of Ramayana, it would be really cool to take a closer look on the story.
- Since Rama is the protagonist in the story, it must be very hard to be his three other brothers.
- Each section would be about Bharata, Lakshmana, and Shatrughna and the trials and tribulations of having such a perfect, well loved brother.
- Bharata would be interesting because his mother betrayed his brother Rama, so he could become the maharajah.
3.) "Its a love story, baby just say yes."
- I love a good love story as much as I loved Taylor Swift before her whole "squad goals" era. It would be interesting to do a lighter piece. Especially, because I am, for some reason, more drawn to darker literature.
- Possible couples:
- Rama and Sita-"a heavenly and eternal love."
4.) Incarnation:
- Wikipedia states that Rama is Vishnu's seventh avatar. It would be interesting to do a story about reincarnated characters.
- Avatar: A deliberate descent of a deity to Earthm or a descent of the supreme being.
- Other possible characters:
- Sita is the avatar of Lakshmi.
